Terms and Conditions

Packages: According on the type of occupation, all of our packages are valid for (2) people, unless otherwise is specified. All of our fees are subject to change without previous notice until ESCALA VACATIONS receives the full payment for the services required.

 
Exclusions: Prices do not include fees for visas, passport, insurance, airport taxes, tips, not mentioned meals in the itinerary, phone calls, or any other personal or minor expenses. These expenses are the traveler’s responsibility.
 
Final Payment: The final payment must be received by ESCALA VACATIONS as soon as the purchase is done online. In case of a reservation, the payment will be under the reserved supplier’s terms. All packages are subject to price changes and availability, if the final payment has not yet been received.
 
Payment Methods: Credit card though the web site. If the payment is not performed immediately, the time frame will depend on each service’s penalties and policies. To process your payment, you must access the web site, insert your reservation code and email to confirm your reservation as well as payment.
Changes and Cancellations: In case you need to change your travel itinerary after your reservation, certain restrictions will apply. After a change, cancellations and refunds due to cancellation will vary depending on the supplier/hotel policies. In addition, we reserve our right to charge a fee for administrative purposes.
 
Carnival, Easter, Christmas, New Year’s Eve, and other Holidays: All sales on ground services (hotel, transportation, car rental, and others) to travel during these holidays are NOT refundable or transferable. Depending on the hotel, other major restrictions will apply as well.
 
Refunds: Refunds for services not used, if applicable, will be processed in sixty (60) days. In all cases, ESCALA VACATIONS will charge a fee for administrative expenses, which will be determined by the company itself. All refunds must be required in writing. Other restrictions may apply; hence, please ask when reserving.
 
Service Cancellation: In case of cancellation or not completing the sale, operational fees will apply based on the registered reservation when refunding.
 
Travel Insurance: ESCALA VACATIONS highly recommends the purchase of travel insurance. Please write to info@arubaconescala.com for information on plans and prices.
 
Travel Documents: It is necessary to have a valid passport for six (6) moths for international travels. Some countries in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, and Asia may require a stamped visa in passport. It is the traveler’s responsibility to be aware of visa requirements at the reservation moment. Likewise, it is also his/her responsibility to obtain all traveling documents and requirements needed such as visa, vaccines, or others.

· Promotions are of the traveler’s interest.
 
· Any legal requirement or regulation requires it.
 
· It might help a supplier collect extra charges from the traveler.
 
Responsibilities: ESCALA VACATIONS acts only as a service provider that intertwines the traveler’s needs; therefore, ESCALA VACATIONS has no responsibilities for services provided by third parties such as hotels, transfer, or any other supplier. ESCALA VACATIONS is not responsible for any type of injuries, damages, illness, or loss caused by terrorism, political situations, social uprisings, plagues, mechanical failures, weather, criminal acts, natural disasters, or any other situation that is out of control from ESCALA VACATIONS and its affiliated enterprises.
 
ESCALA VACATIONS acts as an intermediary between the client and tourism service providers; meaning, companies and people that enable the services mentioned in the itineraries. Consequently, it declines all responsibility for any damage, wound, accident, delay, cancellations, or irregularities that might happen during the services’ execution to the person that travels because of their intermediation; likewise, to his/her luggage and any other objects that contain them. It also declines its responsibilities regarding weather conditions, political protests, riots, terrorist acts, wars, war rumors, or any other reason that might be considered as unforeseen circumstances since these are beyond the will from the parties involved.
 
When the client travels in any means of transportation, he/she agrees to the general hiring conditions from the provider stated in the ticket. Therefore, no responsibility can be attributed to ESCALA VACATIONS.
 
Acceptance: Every person that acquires any service or tourism product through ESCALA VACATIONS clearly states that he/she accepts the terms and conditions previously mentioned. He/she also accepts that these will be taken as baseline to settle any controversy between them. As proof of acceptance of these terms and conditions, the payment of the services must be performed before the start of your trip in any way or method or through the portions of the services hired.
